Black Bear Painting15:23 19 Jul 22
One thing about being a professional painter that every single interior/exterior painter will agree on is that the work is HARD on your body. Your days are spent with your back stooped, crawling on your knees, carrying buckets, climbing ladders, arms raised above your head all day, neck crooked from staring at the ceiling for hours on end. It’s a lot for one body to endure.
For at least a decade, I’ve been searching for something that all of the other Greensburg massage therapists seemed to fall short on. No matter how enjoyable the massage felt, relief was always temporary. Sometimes hours, sometimes a day or two, but none of the “help” ever lasted.
And then . . . the sky opened, and my luck, persistence, and fate all came crashing together at once . . . I met Clive . . . and my body has not been the same since. I was on my last round of massage therapists in Latrobe when I found Clive’s massage studio tucked gently in the woods along RTE 130. “Listening Hand Therapeutic Massage” could not be a better name for Clive’s gift — his hands truly do listen, and they listen deeper and on a purer level than I’ve ever experienced. His gift allows him to go way beyond the restrictions of anatomy and into the mind/body energy connection that keeps us stuck, even when we’re getting all this “help” that just never helps at all.
I have been seeing Clive regularly for several months and, although the improvements came fairly immediately, I wanted to keep seeing him because I was growing more and more curious about just how much better I could possibly feel. Have I grown so accustomed to living like this that I’ve forgotten what it’s like to have a pain-free, fluid-in-movement body?
Clive has literally changed my body, and my life. Physically, he has completely reset my core muscles, allowing me to stand taller and balance better on my hips, legs and feet, and has released immense pain and tension from my jaws that traditional medicine could not. (Some mornings, I actually feel like I could do a few ballet moves before the first cup of coffee — but bears and ballet usually don’t go together too well.) Spiritually, Clive has created a space of such gentleness, kindness, and genuine desire to help that I always leave his studio feeling so full, content, thankful, blessed, lighter, pain-free, and simply healthy.
Clive provides an experience that is 100000% unique from massage therapists in Westmoreland County and I cannot recommend him enough. Don’t delay or second-guess, just reach out to him and start the journey for yourself!
